Named the Shark Tooth Beach because the coral rocks here are quite sharp and very much like a row of shark teeth. Another name for this beach is Batu Layar Beach because there is a rock that expands like a Sailboat. What is certain is that this beach is very different from the general beaches of white sand because the main attraction of this beach is the rows of coral rocks that are widespread here.
There are no public transportation, lodging, stalls or toilets on shark teeth beaches so it is still very quiet and still rarely visited by tourists. Difficult access and very remote location is the reason why this beach is still not managed by the local government even though beach shark teeth is one of the most beautiful and best beaches in Indonesia because of Unikanya and its rich charm.

Pantai Gigi Hiu adalah salah satu pantai Terindah yang ada di lampung. Pantai dengan gugusan bebatuan karang yang terjal dan hempasan ombak laut yang cukup besar menyelinap dibalik karang-karang membuat pantai gigi hiau menjadi salah satu pantai paling ciamik dan paling tersembunyi di Lampung.

Pantai Gigi hiu juga merupakan salah satu pantai yang masih belum terjamah oleh pemerintah mengingat pantai ini lokasinya cukup terpencil dan juga masih terbilang tersembunyi berada dikawasan pelosok Lampung. Nmaun siapa sangka jika keindahanya akan memikat semua wisatawab yang datang bahkan akan sangat terlihat penuh dramatis saat kita befoto diantara bebatuan karang yang tinggi disertai deburan ombak laut samudra Hindia yang ganas.

Oh ya Pantai Gigi Hiu ini ada di Kecamatan Kelumbayan, Kabupaten Tanggamus, Provinsi Lampung, Indonesia. Buat kalian yang pernah atau tau tentang Pahawang atau Kiluan, nah lokasiya tak jauh dari Teluk Kiluan yaitu sekitar 5 km perjalanan. Sementara jika dari pusat iBu kota Bandar Lampung cukup jauh yakni membutuhkan 3-4 jam perjalanan menuju abupaten Tanggamus.

Jalan menuju pantai Gigi hiu bisa dbilang sangat memprihatikan. Hanya bisa dilalui motor saja dan sangat jauh. Beberapa kali kita harus melewati jalur berliku dan curum terlebih lagi jalananya banyak berbatu dan berlumpur (2017). Tapi perjalanan yang jauh dan melelahkan ini akan terbayarkan begitu kita tiba dipantai yang sering disebut Surga Tersembunyi di lampung ini.

Dinamakan Pantai Gigi Hiu karena bebatuan karang yang ada disini cukup tajam dan banyak sekali seperti barisan gigi ikan hiu. Nama lain dari pantai ini adalah Pantai Batu Layar karena ada sebuah batu yang mengembang bagaikan Perahu Layar. Yang pasti pantai ini sangat berbeda dari pantai pada umumnya yang berpasir putih karena daya tarik utama pantai ini adalah Deretan bebatuan karang yang tersebar luas disini.

Tak ada kendaraan umum, penginapan, warung atau toilet di pantai gigi hiu jadi masih sangat sepi dan masih jarang dikunjungi wisatawan. Akses yang sulit dan lokasinya yang sangat jauh menjadi alasan mengapa pantai ini masih belum dikelola oleh pemerintah setempat padahal pantai gigi hiu merupakan salah satu pantai terindah dan terbaik yang ada di Indonesia karena ke Unikanya dan pesona yang disuguh kaya.
